Arnesons resort fishing report

The bite has been good in the areas we are fishing. It does take a little work getting fish to commit to biting, but when you get them hooked up, we’re seeing eater sauger and some nice walleye. We are fishing in areas with 13-16″ of ice. Captain Cole Buley reports that pink and gold and green and gold are the hot color combinations right now. The colder temperatures will allow us to start moving toward the reefs and north of Rocky Point.

I have an older Lund Tyee 1993 and storage was a problem. In the back by the motor and splash well there is two battier compartments about a foot and a half tall all carpeted with lids. I have four pedestals in the floor of the boat the back two pedestals are about three feet to the battier boxes

In Minnesota, over the last week we did see some slower fishing- making the slow fishing worth it several large fish were caught. Fishing has rebounded quickly with the last couple of days being lights out and many limits and high numbers coming top side.
